Tip:
After I started this project I acquired a new respect for low-poly modelers and the artists that create textures for them. It's hard to make something look good when you have such technical limitations! Very few polys, no light effects at all, except for those painted directly into the textures. Even so, I tried to maintain a sense of design, creating a wacky funhouse.
Here are some of the textures used: they were created originally in high-resolution (for example, 512x512 pixels) in Photoshop and 3D Studio Max. They were all reduced to 128x128 for final use. I tried to make them
look very painterly, hand-made. I apologize, however, you cannot use these textures for they are copyrighted.... |
