This image shows the entrance of the GUE Tech,
which is a magical university inside an enormous underground cave. The university is invisible until the player reaches it's interior.
Tip:
The rotating pillars (which are part of the puzzle to get inside the dome) has geometry that is fairly simple. I created a profile and used the SurfRev (lathe) tool. What makes this pillar look interesting are the different textures, applied to each part of the pillar. The rotating cylinders in the center part were created separately. Smaller decorative elements attached to the sides and top of the pillar help to give it a finished look
