In this section I reviewed some of my favorite books used as texture references. Some of them are simply for ideas, others will allow
scanning and manipulation. To have knowledge of textures and ornament is as important for the 3d artist as any other subject, such as lighting or animation. I have a real preference for this subject, and I collect
ornament pictures with the same pride as someone who would collect stamps or baseball cards. |
