When I was in school, history of art wasn't one of the hottest subjects. Today, I find myself studying more history than I ever imagined I could. Art history not only serves as inspiration, but teaches lessons on how to create new, contemporary art successfully.

I find that I go through waves, preferring certain epochs or styles at a given time. Recently, I found myself very involved with Italian Renaissance, especially Illumination of Manuscripts (they have a strange similarity to interface design...)
