Studying other people's work is a constant for the artist that wants to improve his or her skills. I have an enormous amount of books on fantasy artists that serve as inspiration and motivation. Not only that, it helps me to keep up with trends.

Most of the fantasy books I own show the works of artists using traditional media. I find traditional fantasy art to be much more mature than computer generated art (at least for now)..

At this time, I am fanatical about the works of James Christensen, which has impeccable technique and imagination. I recently came out of a Bruvel phase.
